ALMOST A FULL MOON at The Citadel Theatre in Edmonton

In the fall of 2022, I had the honour to play Mimi in the world premiere of the musical Almost a full moon written by Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman, based on Hawksley Workman’s album of the same name.

The pleasure and challenges of creating a new work and being the first to inhabit a role was an exceptionally rewarding experience. Working with artistic director of the Citadel Theatre Daryl Cloran, was a very nourishing process as he mapped this touching family story.

I was so grateful to have worked with such a talented and inspiring cast and crew , we became that family.

 Here are some reviews:

“Mimi (Lyne Tremblay), a matriarch whose connection to all the characters is developed as the play progresses. She is by far the strength of the production, managing to link past, present and future in a tender and often comical manner” - Edmonton Journal

“Mimi is played with an amusingly un-sentimental edge by the excellent Lyne Tremblay, who has a line in epigrammatic wisdom. Love, she says is: “everything that’s left after the party.” Globe and Mail
